Three public information workshops will be held during the Master Plan process. The workshops will be used to inform and educate the general public of the study process and major findings. Each workshop will be conducted in accordance with COVID-19 pandemic guidelines applicable at the time of the workshop. The public workshops for the Dulles Airport Master Plan will be conducted at the following milestones:

During excessive tarmac delays and to the extent practicable, Dulles Airport supports our airline partners in the deplanement of passengers from aircraft.  We also provide for sharing of facilities and gates, and arrange for a sterile area for passengers who have not yet cleared U.S. Customs and Border Protection check points, to the extent practicable.  For full access to the plan, or to learn more, please review the full Emergency Contingency Plan below.

Discover Dulles For our 50th anniversary, we created new opportunities to share the year-long celebration with you. We randomly selected individuals to come to Washington Dulles International Airport for unique, behind-the-scenes experiences. Because of the success of Discover Dulles, we continued offering unique opportunities well beyond the anniversary events.
