Lost and Found
SPECIAL COVID-19 NOTICE:
Please note the Dulles Airport Lost and Found office will operate on a modified schedule,
effective April 13, 2020.
During this time of modified operational hours, the Lost & Found office will be closed to walk-in inquiries. An appointment will be required for all in-person pickups. Lost and Found agents will answer e-mails or return phone calls within 24 hours. Please make inquiries through the link at the bottom of this page “Airport Lost and Found”.
Items for return will be mailed out on Mondays and Fridays only.

If you lost an item onboard your airplane, please contact your airline. If you lost an item in the terminal, call Lost & Found at 703-572-8479, Mon-Fri 8 a.m. to 4p.m. (Closed Weekends).
The Dulles Lost and Found office is located on the Arrivals Level - Baggage Claim, just behind Baggage Claim 2. There are several agencies at the Airport which handle lost and found items. The following chart will help guide you on selecting the correct agency which corresponds to the location where your item went missing. If you are unsure, contact Dulles Airport Central Lost and Found first for expert assistance.
