The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) operates Dulles International airport (IAD), only 25 miles away from the National Mall. 

• Ridesharing services such as Lyft and Uber are available at the airport. They are located on the arrivals level at IAD.  
   
• The Silver Line Metrorail station at Dulles is connected to the Main Terminal by a pedestrian walkway with moving sidewalks.
