TSA Guidance for Travelers

General traveler information can be found at the TSA website.

CLEAR is available at Washington Dulles

CLEAR is a Registered Travelers’ Program that allows members to bypass the traditional document review at the Security Checkpoints.  To enroll, CLEAR customers may visit one of two CLEAR kiosks located in the Terminal Building at Dulles, both found on the Departures – Ticketing/Check-In Level. One is situated to the West of TSA Precheck line; the second outside the East Security Checkpoint. CLEAR kiosks for ticketed passengers who are already enrolled are available at the lower-level East Security Checkpoint and at the entrance of the TSA Precheck on the Ticketing Level of the Terminal.

After becoming a registered CLEAR member, customers are able to scan their boarding passes and provide a biometric scan of their finger or eye to instantly verify their identity, each time they fly.  After verification, a CLEAR representative escorts the customer to an area at the security check point, located nearby.

Visit clearme.com for more information or visit one of the CLEAR Enrollment Kiosks at Washington Dulles, located near the East and TSA Precheck Checkpoints on the Departures – Ticketing/Check-In Level of the Terminal.
