This year, we partnered with the DC Defenders of the United Football League (UFL) for their final home game of the 2026 season, bringing Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) directly to thousands of football fans at Audi Field in Washington, D.C.

During the pre-game Fan Fest, we connected with more than 5,000 attendees, distributing 400 IAD-branded luggage tags promoting our nonstop destinations across Asia and 5,000 rally towels showcasing the airport's 160+ nonstop destinations. Fans also experienced our "Shields Up, Wheels Up" campaign throughout the stadium, including prominent scoreboard visibility.

The partnership provided a unique opportunity to engage with the local community, inspire travel, and highlight the wide range of destinations accessible through IAD. By aligning with one of the region's professional football teams, we reinforced the airport's role as the Washington region's gateway to destinations across the United States and around the world.
