Dulles International Airport Traveler Update on Coronavirus
Wings For All at Washington Dulles on November 7
Event helps individuals with special needs and their families to learn about air travel and to ease the stress of flying
Dulles International will host a “dress rehearsal” from ticket counter to plane that is designed to provide a mock -- yet realistic -- opportunity to experience travel through the airport before their actual trip. The event is for individuals with special needs and their families and is held in partnership with The Arc of Northern Virginia, United Airlines and the Transportation Security Administration. Families will able to practice entering the airport, navigating the terminal, getting boarding passes at the ticket counter, checking bags, passing through TSA security screening and boarding an aircraft at a gate.
Registration has closed for this event.
Note: Participation is free of charge, and participants do not have to be affiliated with The Arc of Northern Virginia.
