Dulles International the only airport in the National Capital Region offering nonstop service to Tel Aviv

United Airlines (UAL) Wednesday will launch its first nonstop flight between the Washington, D.C., area and Tel Aviv from its hub at Washington Dulles International Airport. Offering more nonstop service between the United States and Tel Aviv than any other U.S. airline, United's Dulles route will be the carrier's third U.S. gateway to Israel. United becomes the only airline providing nonstop, year-round service between Washington, D.C., and Tel Aviv.

“We are honored to welcome this route from Tel Aviv to Dulles International Airport as we forge a new link between our two countries,” said Jack Potter, president and chief executive officer of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority. “Today, Tel Aviv joins 57 other nonstop international destinations from Dulles International. We are pleased to be able to offer passengers unparalleled connectivity to more than 40 other countries across five continents.”

From Dulles International, United will connect more than 80 cities across North America to Tel Aviv.
