Lace up your running shoes! The annual Dulles 5K/10K Run on the Runway will take place Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 7:30 a.m.

Prepare to embark on an unforgettable journey on an airport runway exclusively reserved for runners. With a certified looped course, participants will pass a parked aircraft along their route. The runway will be cleared by 9 a.m. so it can reopen for takeoffs and landings.

Proceeds from the event will support our friends at Special Olympics Virginia, the Committee for Dulles Community Outreach and the Washington Airports Task Force.

Registration:

All participants must register online and in advance. Refer to the instructions for picking up your race packet on September 21 or 22 at the Washington Dulles Airport Marriott, 45020 Aviation Drive, Dulles, VA 20166.

Strollers and Wheelchairs:

Both are allowed. Children in strollers may accompany a runner on the course without registering.

Spectators:

Spectators will not be allowed on the runway but are welcome to cheer their favorite runners along the finish line.

Parking and Security:

Free parking for the event will be provided by the National Air and Space Museum's Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, 14390 Air and Space Museum Parkway, Chantilly. The lot will open at 6:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 a.m. No latecomers will be admitted. All guests and their belongings will be screened. No weapons are allowed.

Bag Drop:

A bag drop will be located near the starting line. Please use the bag provided during packet pick-up.
