We anticipate normal operations for travelers at Dulles International during the government shutdown. Airport functions such as parking, concessions, customer service and public safety that are provided by the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority are not tied to the federal budget and will continue normally. 

The staffing of essential federal services such as security screening, air traffic control and customs processing could affect flight schedules or wait times. Updated guidance will be posted here as needed.

• Arrive at least two hours before a domestic flight and three hours before an international flight.
