How do I get to the Terminal from Metro?

Approximately 600 feet.  About a 5 minute walk.

 

Are there elevators?


Yes, there are elevators at the Metro Station and at the Main Terminal.

 

Can I get wheelchair services on the platform?


Not at this time.

 

What’s the cost of the train to downtown?


Depends on the time of day and distance traveled. Fares range from $2.25 to $6.75 on weekdays. A trip to Metro Center in downtown DC is $6.75. Fares drop to $2.25-$2.50 after 9:30 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends.

How do I pay for fares?

 

Rail customers can simply tap a credit or debit card to enter and exit the faregates at any Metrorail station. Customers looking to buy 1, 3, or 7-day passes can purchase a SmarTrip card from the fare vending machines in the mezzanine. 
 

What time does the metro open/close?

 

  • Monday through Thursday from 5 a.m. to midnight.
  • Friday from 5 a.m. until 2 a.m.  
  • Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m.
  • Sunday from 6 a.m. to midnight

Can I use the Metro to get to DCA?

 

Yes! It will take approximately 50-55 minutes to get to Rosslyn. Then from there you can transfer to the Blue line which will take you right to DCA Metro Station.
